What I ment by that was that ‘You should not say the word “Slay”‘ as it is so dumb and pointless. also, can someone explain what this thing about the word slay is? it is very anoiying
thank you, but just because it means ‘kill’, it shouldn’t be banned, it should be banned because it is old, and if we do ban the word ‘Slay’ because it means ‘kill’, then should we also ban kill and murder and assassinate?
Slay is old English and shouldn’t be said in the modern world. This would be ridicules as we don’t speak old English now, do we? Am I right to think I am writing in “modern English”? Many people would think that ‘Slay’ is a relatively new word but it is not; I believe Shakespeare used it. So should we stop? Answer: Yes.
Yes we should stop saying “slay”
I fully support you. 🙂
I 100 % agree .

In Proper English:
Slay is old English and shouldn’t be said in the modern world. This would be ridicules as we don’t speak old English now, do we? Am I right to think I am writing in “modern English”? Many people would think that ‘Slay’ is a relatively new word but it is not; I believe Shakespeare used it. So should we stop? Answer: Yes.
People used SLAY to, simply, say die.
